Area of application
- ULTRASOUND CLEANER is excellent for cleaning and degreasing machines and their components, tools, equipment and parts in industry, handicraft and laboratories. It is also used for cleaning of heavily soiled respirators (face masks) and protective work equipment.
- ULTRASOUND CLEANER has been especially designed for cleaning in ultrasonic cleaning units, as well as for cleaning by immersion, wiping or high-pressure techniques.
Benefits
ULTRASOUND CLEANER removes common soiling, grinding, polishing, and lapping residues, oily and greasy residues, dust, soot, etc. from:
Metals, light metals, glass, ceramics, plastics, rubber, windows, glasses, E-filters, respirators (face masks).
Application
Ensure that the surface of objects is completely immersed. Hollow objects need be immersed in a way that air can completely escape from the cavities. Concentration and time of application depend on type and degree of contamination.
After cleaning, rinse parts thoroughly in water. For spotless drying, rinse with demineralized water.
Respirators (face masks) and protective work equipment must be cleaned according to the manufacturer’s specifications.
If used correctly, a fast and gentle cleaning is achieved.

Composition
ULTRASOUND CLEANER contains: Surfactants, corrosion inhibitors , chelating agents and builders.
Material Compatibility
ULTRASOUND CLEANER has a high material compatibility. Parts made of tin and zinc may be damaged. We recommend testing the resistance of sensitive materials before cleaning.
Environmental Impact
The contained surfactants ae biodegradable according to Regulation (EC) No. 648/2004 on detergents. Used solutions can be let into the sewerage after neutralization to a pH-value of 6.5 to 9.5 and dilution with the quadruple amount of water if the contaminations allow this. The national and local regulations concerning sewerage must be observed.
Completely rinsed jerrycans, bottles and barrels may be recycled via national plastic recycling systems.
Safety precautions and first aid
Eyes – hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if still present, after 5 minutes then continue rinsing. Call a doctor for treatment advice.
Skin – Take off contaminated clothing and rinse skin immediately with plenty of water for 15-20 minutes. Call a doctor for treatment advice.
Swallowed – Call a doctor immediately for treatment advice. Have person sip water if able to swallow. Rinse mouth with water. Do not induce vomitting unless told to do so by the doctor. Do not give anything to an unconscious person.
Inhaled – Move person to fresh air. If person is not breathing, call an ambulance, then give artificial repsiration, preferably mouth-to-mouth. Call a doctor for treatment advice.
Note to Doctor: Probable mucosal damage may contraindicate the use of gastric lavage. Have product container or label with you when calling the doctor or going for medical treatment.
Packaging & Storage
Packaging:
ULTRASOUND CLEANER is packed in 25 litre UN approved, non-removable head, HDPE plastic jerry cans, square 1200-1300g fitted with screw cap and rubber gasket (torque 20Nm). The packaging meets Packing Group II and III tests. Each drum can handle any product with a specific gravity less than 1.8 and allow an internal test pressure of 100kPa.
Storage:
Store in a tightly closed container in a well-ventilated chemical storage facility between 10°C and 25°C, away from sensitive environs, foodstuffs and children. Keep under lock and key.
Keep out of direct sunlight. Prolonged exposure to high temperatures will have a detrimental effect on the product. Shelf-life = 24 months from date of manufacture.
