Area of application
- BIOFECT AEROSOL is an excellent disinfectant, antimicrobial agent and two-way deodorizer for use on pre-cleaned, hard, non-porous surfaces.
- For use in industrial, institutional, commercial, medical and residential facilities, equipment and vehicles including hospitals, ambulances, nursing homes, medical and dental offices and clinics; veterinary offices and animal areas; schools, libraries, laboratories, hotels and motels; restaurants and cafeterias; food storage, processing, packaging, handling and service establishments and equipment; offices, stores and more.

Recommended method of application
Directions for fogging:
- All surfaces must be cleaned and disinfected in accordance with label directions prior to fogging.
- Do not use more than one fogger per room.
- Turn off all ignition sources, such as pilot lights (shut off gas valves), or open flames or running electrical appliances that cycle off and on (I.e. refrigerators, thermostats etc.)
- Call your gas utility or Management Company if you need assistance with your pilot lights.
- Activate lever on can.
- Leave room / building
- Keep room/building closed for two hours before airing out.
- Open all doors and windows and allow to air for five hours.
Directions for hatchery truck greater than 5m x 5m:
- Place several layers of newspaper or pad stand, table inside your vehicle.
- Close windows and air vents.
- Activate lever on can.
- Leave vehicle for two hours before airing out.
- Open all doors and windows and allow to air for five hours.
- NO SMOKING
Precautionary and hazard statements
Precautionary statements:
- Keep away from heat, hot surfaces and any open flames or ignition.
- Keep container tightly closed.
- Use non-sparking.
- Avoid breathing vapors, spray or mist.
- Wash hands, forearms and face thoroughly after handling.
- Avoid release to environment.
Hazard statements:
- Highly flammable liquid.
- May burst if heated.
- Causes mild skin irritation.
- May cause respiratory irritation.
- May cause drowsiness.
Safety precautions and first aid
Skin – Take off contaminated clothing and rinse skin immediately with plenty of water for 15-20 minutes. Call a doctor for treatment advice.
Swallowed – Call a doctor immediately for treatment advice. Have person sip water if able to swallow. Rinse mouth with water. Do not induce vomitting unless told to do so by the doctor. Do not give anything to an unconscious person.
Inhaled – Move person to fresh air. If person is not breathing, call an ambulance, then give artificial repsiration, preferably mouth-to-mouth. Call a doctor for treatment advice.
Note to Doctor: Probable mucosal damage may contraindicate the use of gastric lavage. Have product container or label with you when calling the doctor or going for medical treatment.
Packaging & Storage
Packaging:
Biofect Aerosol is packed in 400ml containers.
Storage:
- Store in a tightly closed container in a well-ventilated chemical storage facility between 10°C and 25°C, away from sensitive environs, foodstuffs and children. Keep under lock and key.
- Keep out of direct sunlight. Prolonged exposure to high tempertaures will have a detrimental effect on the product. Shelf-life = 24 months from date of manufacture.
- Empty containers should be treated as hazardous waste and should be dispensed of in accordance with hazardous waste regulations.
